Innsbruck

On Saturday, December 11th, we made our way north to Innsbruck with two bus-loads of students.Although we had to slow-down while crossing the Brenner Pass - caused by a "snowstorm" during which a full inch fell on the road- the bus ride was much less eventful then our earlier treck to Bologna!

Innsbruck was the Habsburg capital during the middle ages, after Meran and before the dynasty moved to Vienna - more on the Habsburgs in Vienna in a next post! It was a very nice town nestled in the Alps that gets invaded every December for its ski resorts and Christmas markets.

Enjoy these pictures of the town!

Prochaine mise à jour: Mezzocorona, Trento et Bolzano sous la neige... enfin, sous le froid relatif.
